Standby Time On 5.1.1

I'm on at&t so I have not received the 5.1 update yet but I am pretty sure att will leave that feature out.

I get horrible battery most of the time on my gs6 but there is occasionally a random day where I get great standby time like last week when my battery stayed at 100% for 2 and a half hours in standby.

I will try this app as most of the time the standby time is horrible. How much improvement should I expect from the doze app recommended?

No way to answer that question, you'll need to find out by yourself, I mean everybody's use is different and if your issue with battery life is mostly because of an app keeping your phone awake using data, then it may be very helpful, if it's something else, then it may not.

The Indian firmware brought out an update for the phone that got rid of this feature so now I'm back to using greenify xd. I'm hopeful that when Telstras planned release of 5.1.1 occurs at the end of the month they will keep this feature. Especially considering they have smart manager on their firmware. If they do include it I will be flashing my software and going back over to Telstra
