Starbucks app not compatible with G3

Just tried downloading the app from the playstore and it says my device is not compatible...? Anyone else have this problem?

They just updated the Starbucks app. Did you have the previous version, and was that compatible with the G3? Presumably, it's an issue with the resolution. I would email the developer and bug them about making it compatible with the G3: Info@Starbucks.com

Yep it's disappeared from play store for me even though I have it installed. They just dropped the ball on this update. Hopefully fixed soon.

I didn't know until I read this. I opened the Play Store app and the new Starbucks app says not compatible.

I sent an email to the developer.

I deleted it and was going to re-install it thinking it was corrupt when work phone got the update and personal one (g3)did not. I use it frequently, I hope they fix it soon

I had the starbucks app on my lg g3 but I couldnt reload my card it had errors now i do not see it in the app store..but it says not compatible with lg g3 now

i deleted it also..now it isnt in the app store now

You can just download an old apk version by googling it.

Just google "Starbucks android app old apk". I got my old version from Downloads.ws
Make sure you change your security settings on android to allow for installation of apps from unknown sources

This will at least solve your starbucks card issue until they fix the update

Oddly enough, I've had to uninstall/reinstall the older app 5 or 6 times since getting my G3 a couple of months ago, but, since it's disappeared from the Play Store, it's worked fine...

Was it because it was automatically going online and updating the app from the store? Once removed it doesnt have an update to install.

This issue should be resolved more by LG in an update than devs imo... having a unique 4k screen, LG should have better in place to downlevel settings when needed. Fortunately I didnt lose many apps with 'not compatible' messages... cnbc app for one. Could have been worse. I bet if we ever get an up from LG or from carriers, the issue would probably be resolved.

Maybe. Regardless... As far as I can see the Starbucks app. Has disappeared from G Play, let alone it being incompatible with the G3. I've emailed Starbucks.

Oh but my dear fellow, you simply MUST visit Starbucks. ALL the best people go there. I remember an occasion when dear Oscar Wilde ordered a watercress sandwich. He found that it was rather too large and clumsily made but nonetheless tackled it gamely. 'That was quite the worst watercress sandwich I have ever eaten,' he told the waiter. 'When I ask for a watercress sandwich, I do not expect to be served a loaf with a field in the middle of it.'

(Actually I think that was in the Savoy Hotel. Perhaps they got an app too.)

Same here.. I have it installed from about a week ago and it works just fine. Now it's gone. Will likely have an update soon.

I had the same issue, but I sideloaded the 2.7 apk from 1mobile Store. It's working just fine, I don't know why the Play Store says incompatible...If you guys need the apk, PM me.
