Start up takes a long time

Ever since the Gingerbread update (I used the RUU file from HTC website) I have had all kinds of problems with my phone. Random freezes and restarts, Messages app lags and glitches, digitizer going completely unresponsive, etc. When I do a battery pull the phone takes AT LEAST 5 minutes to power up. That doesn't seem right to me.

Anyone else having similar glitches and start up time issues?
