Starting to not enjoy my random reboots

I have been having random reboots or the screen will freeze and when i hit the lock button the screen goes black and nothing gets it back on. I see some others having the same type of problems. Any fixes or do we just need some froyo love to fixs this?

There's a huge thread about this on the moto support forums. Bottom line, is you might want to consider exchanging it, if you don't think it's related to a 3rd party app.

Well, we tried. But it looks now like understanding the reasons this small number of phones experience regular reboots is going to take some time and investigation. If your rebooting problem is serious, at this time I think you should consider taking it back to your place of purchase for an exchange. It's your call -- mine rebooted the other day, and it did it a couple of times in the first week that I started using it. For me, that's not a big deal. My PC crashes sometimes too. But if you can't rely on the phone, that's different.

Probably should back up all your stuff and factory reset the phone and see if it's still happening. If it's not, you know it's an app causing it. If it is, then it's your phone.

I had this problem for the first week or two that I had the phone. During that time I used ATK and had it kill most, if not all running applications. I deselected most of the running apps, like the ones that are stock with the phone like text messaging, voicemail, etc. Since then I have not had any random reboots.
