any one live in staten island ny and knows how to root. I cant seem to root my evo not because i cant do it it because i have a mac and everyone i know use mac and i cant seem to figure how to do it with a mac after the update date. i did found one but i need mac 10 to run it and i have 9.5

I have the ota that came out couple weeks ago. I didnt know there was more then one

I tryed again on my mac but i dont have up todate software on my mac so the sdk file i need to do it wont open. So still looks like i am out of luck with rooting. Like macs but some time i think its good to have a pc because alot of software is only able to be used on pc like simple root.

Dude, just go to unrevoked and dl the version for the Mac. Start the program, plug in your phone, and viola! 90 seconds later you have a rooted phone. Easy peasey lemon squeezy.

I dont have the up to date max OS so it wont let me open unrevoked so i am i cant root and it sucks
