Is it just my phone or do all rezounds have I can exchange my phone for a new one if its just my phone but if all rezounds have it that might be a problem. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
I've never heard of static only in one ear, but a lot of (but not all) Rezound owners have complained of static whenever any media is playing, even when paused or muted. For some people, exchanging the phone helped, for others it hasn't. I'm waiting for the impending software update to see if that helps before I exchange mine.
The first two months with my phone were fine, then last week the static started. I called verizon yesterday and they told me that they are aware of the issue and are not replacing phones as of yet. I also called HTC and they said they are working on fixing the issue.
I have a slightly different issue. When ever us the play/pause button on the headphones I get some other music. Its music from phone, but like another set of tracks. This also happens on a call. It is most annoying...
Yeah the noise is driving me crazy my first Rezound didn't do it but died in a week now this one does and today is day 14 and the update didn't fix it time to return it I use it mostly as a music player.
I also noticed the static when I pause music. it goes away if I wait 5 seconds but then restarts when I resume playing music. I don't notice it as much while playing music hut I think the static is still present, just drowned outback by the music.
I have this same issue -- the update didn't fix anything. It's a heavy, loud static noise in the left earbud that occurs when I jiggle the jack around a little bit (like when I am running) and it won't go away until you unplug the headset and replug it in a few seconds later.
I'm going to return it tomorrow as I'm still in the 14 day return period. Does anyone know of a fix?
