staying "stock" and pushing to ED05?

ok, so my g/f is extreamly aginst me "doing stuff" to her phone... "i've seen all the crap you've done to yours and what you've been thru and i don't want you touching mine"

that being said, is there a way to push to ED05 and her keep all her stuff without rooting?

this is what i had in my head... download mode, cwr, nandroid of current state, install ed05, download mode, cwr, restore advanced "data" and she has the exact same phone she started with... sound about right? what will she loose if anything?

if you want her to still be unrooted, you are going to have to either tell her it is unrooted (lie) or get rid of it somehow.

Personally, I lied to my son by omission. See I had extra batteries for the fassy that he couldnt use properly because of the OEM block that samsung has. I told him I would fix it. Rooted his phone and installed a kernel that gets around it, then just gave it back to him. I didnt touch the rom at all and he is none the wiser.

I take back everything i said. I just read through the ED05 thread. The way it looks, and someone else can verify this. All you would have to do it is root the phone, do a titanium (or mybackuppro) backup of the APKs and data, odin the full package, then do a restore. The ED05 is a full stock unrooted deal. Not sure if you are gonna have to root and unroot to do the restore...
