Why would this be greyed out? I've got the Tmo version if that matters.

Must be another option disabling it. I have the T-Mobile version as well but mines not greyed out.

I think it depends on what type of video quality you're trying to record in. Lower the quality a bit and see if that helps.. Or the bitrate

Yep you're correct. UHD and FHD(60fps) disables it.

That was it. I had it set to FHD (60fps). Setting it to FHD 16:9 is all I did. THANKS to you all. Much appreciated.

I believe it's a software trick to stabilize the footage and they need extra pixels to work with or crop the frames from, so it wouldn't be possible at max video resolution.

No problem. I haven't recorded much video at all but I remember seeing that when I was messing around with mine.
