Steinheil Screen Protector Discussion

I actually just put the invisible shield back on. Had some issues with the Steinheil, dust and what not. I am getting pretty good at changing these lol.

Edit: Ya I messed up. I miss the Steinheil. So ordered another set.......

There is a learning curve to applying these things no doubt.

Could someone who has the Steinheil anti-fingerprint screen protector on their DX mind taking a picture of it with the screen on so I could try to see how blurry it is? I've looked at the youtube video of the guy putting it on his DX but he doesn't really show how it affects the screen.

I saw this video (YouTube - SGP Screen Shield Comparison), yes, I know it's an iPhone, and it really doesn't look all that bad - the anti-fingerprint protector that is.

I bought the anti-glare protector when I had my phone on order. I put it on and used it for a week. After two days using them I ordered the crystal clear protector's. I have to say that I was glad to get the anti-glare one off. I had to turn the screen brightness up higher to make it usable and was draining the battery faster. The clear one's are great.

I had the Steinheil Anti-Fingerprints and they were awful. Much more blurry than the VZW protectors. You will not be happy with them. It feels really good, but the big 4.3 screen looks ugly.

Thanks for the info guys. Hum.... I think I'm just going to go ahead and order the crystal clear. I really really really hate fingerprints but most have nothing good to say about the AF protector. I still think the blur isn't that bad but I also think that the phone could be pretty hard to use outside with the AF protector on.

ugh... I was so excited about having no fingerprints! haha.

Go with the Steinheil Ultra clear its the best one. The Invisishield is tacky to the touch and looks HORRIBLE with its orange peel effect.. Do not ruin the fabulous screen with a tacky nasty orange peel protector...

i couldnt disaree more. i have the invisishield total body , and i am very pleased! after it dries for the reccomended 48 hours, it really is invisible. plus doesnt affect the screen resolution. looks great. i do agree however on the tackyness of the screen. when my finger gets sweaty it tends to hang up every now and then.

but the clarity overrides that issue.
