Sorry if this isn't new...
I'm afraid sometimes my high hopes for technology are let down - usually by bad programming.
I have a Galaxy 6 so I expected a very high degree of integration when I added the GF2 to the mix.
I assumed that as the phone can count steps, and the watch can count steps, that they would work out between themslves what's going on. IN particular, if I have BOTH devices about my person, they shoudl be able to work this out and agree to have only one device count steps, and only when for what ever reason I'm only carrying the phone or wearing the watch but not both, does the in-use device's step count become the onen to use. But nope. After a couple of weeks of experimentation, it's pretty clear that if I go for a walk with the phone in my pocket and the watch on my wrist they both count the steps - then add them up in SHealth app!
Fortunately it's easy to tell SH to only listen to the watch, but it's disappointing that I have to.
