Stepping Away From Galaxy and Need Opinions!

Hi, I've been a long time Galaxy owner and my S8s issues finally got bad enough that I've made a warranty claim and will be getting a new (not refurbished) S8, but I intend to sell it if all goes as planned. The main reason is I want a bigger screen, but I also wonder if there may be a better option for me based on my needs. I'm hoping I can get around $300 for the S8 new in box and then want to spend no more than $200 extra on whatever I get. That being said, I would love some recommendations / opinions on what I should get. Most important features to me are the battery life / charge efficiency and then just general speed in which it can go from app to app, open maps etc. I do not really care about the camera at all. If it has face unlock, I guess I would care how well it was able to do that, but my S8 was not good enough at it for it to seem very useful. I also don't really care about wireless charging. I listen to a lot of music, but not really through the speakerphone. If I do make the move from Samsung, I think the only thing I will for sure miss is Samsung Pay

Anyway, I've been looking around and the Mate 10 View seems like it may be a good option for me as well as the OnePlus6. Do you guys have any recommendations?
