Had this problem on my DX2, and also on the DX with gingerbread (was not present in Froyo).
Using the stock email client, if I put my phone number in my signature and send an email to someone, the recipient will see this if they are on outlook:
Name
123.456.789
(i.e. a clickable link to my phone #, which is what I would expect)
If I send the same message to someone on gmail, they see this:
Name
123.456.789 < tel: 123456789 >
(i.e. the phone # and then a separate link with some weird formatting)
Is anyone else seeing this? Is this a gingerbread problem? Who would I write to in order to address this?
