My rezound is still periodically bootlooping even after the fix of changing the radio from WCDMA preferred to CDMA auto. I don't live or work in an area with a 4g signal (about a few miles outside the Philly 4g areas) so I don't put it in 4g often at all. I use the widgit Switch It when I'm in a 4g area to kick it on. Every few days or so when changing the battery it goes into a bootloop. The only way I get it to stop is to pull the battery, pull the sim card, and then boot the phone without the battery door. Once it boots up, I check the Switch it widget and sure enough, the phone is back into WCDMA mode (I'm sure the reason for the bootloop
This is getting frustrating. I love this phone, but this is the crap that gives android a bad name. If I was a noob, I might take the phone back and just get an iphone. But I'm not, I like android better, but I want a phone that works out of the box. Yes I unlocked the bootloader, and rooted it, but it was doing this BEFORE I did that.
Anybody know of a permanent fix for this, short of checking the radio before I shut down everytime?
