Still don't have KK 4.4.4

Whats so funny about that? Just take a look at the forums.

It's not funny per se, but do agree that we are not going to see 5.0 in December. That is when it is going to roughly be released, but highly doubt all the carriers are going to be done programming it to their liking and release it. And to the thread I have 4.4.4 on My Verizon, but 4.4.2 on my Sprint. Seems like Verizon (who is usually last) actually got it out first for once, everyone else is behind and possibly waiting at this point to just go to 5.0

I'm on Att...I think we get the 4.4.4 before lollipop...and lollipop probably by February

Samsung S5

Verizon rolled out the 4.4.4 update yesterday and my S5 has been messed up since then!

It won't turn off or restart. I have to take the battery out.
The touch screen works sporadically.
Battery draining at a rapid pace.

I just got this phone last week. Upgraded from my S3. Love the phone. Wish I hadn't updated!

I'm going to see what happens when I'm at work tonight. Now that I think about it, I am not receiving the audible text notifications and the camera was wonky.

I pulled the battery out and put it back in a few times when it froze up. In those few minutes, the battery drained from 98% to 91%.

It will now turn off and restart without taking the battery out. I'll report back with any other findings. I went through something similar when there was an android update on my S3 a year of so ago. UGH.

December is just when the update leaves Samsung. The farticus carriers will hold on to it as long as they want. Samsung needs to stop leaking to carriers and just give it to us directly. No one likes bloatware anyway.

Boom! From My S5

Does anyone with the same baseband version have 4.4.4?

The SM-G900F is the international version, 4.4.2 is the latest update so far, I think they'll be skipping the 4.4.4.

Finally got 4.4.4 on Sprint yesterday. My wifi seems to be staying on and hooking up faster. Fingerprint log-in is better too. I will probably have to wait a few months for 5.0 now. Samsung seems to be having problems with it.

I just hope ATT updates the S5 soon! Whether it's 4.4.4 or 5.0, something needs to be done to eliminate the lag and music skipping issues while streaming over bluetooth. The lag randomly gets so bad on my S5 that it pretty much renders it useless and I have to reboot in order to use it. How this can be acceptable on a so-called "flagship" phone is beyond me but there needs to be a fix soon.

A lot of my lag problems were fixed when I switched to the Google Now launcher instead of TouchWiz. That turned my S5 into a whole new phone and I now reboot my phone once every 2-3 weeks just out of habit.

Bluetooth audio playback issues were somewhat fixed with 4.4.4, they are still problematic though. I'm on Verizon but I received an update to 4.4.4 and a specific patch from Verizon for Bluetooth audio issues. My phone still skips from time to time. It's not bad and is usually once every other day. The skipping only lasts a millisecond (if that) whereas before my phone would skip multiple times within a 5 second period and then go back to normal. Skipping, for me, has been a lot better under Google Music. Samsung's music app is a resource hog and continues to skip for me just like before. But the Google Play Music app has been a whole lot better especially after its last update.

Sprint hasn't gotten 4.4.4, not sure we will if they're opting to go with Lollipop.
I'm on Sprint and got 4.4.4 about 4 weeks ago on my GS5. I was surprised too since I *thought* Sprint would skip it for Lollipop. New version *seems* smoother and faster, but using NFC to transfer photos from one S5 to another doesn't work. It did in 4.4.2.

Hi guys, just found this while browsing my subscribed list. Just an update, I manually downloaded Android 5.0, Lollipop on my SM-G900F.

It's pretty nice, though I am extremely by Samsung for not having a lot of animations... But my phone is running significantly smoother now and loading times doesn't take as long now.

Didn't notice anything on the battery side of things. Still 16 hours on average :)

I have no use for Animations or Frilly wallpapers, so that is a good thing IMO.

The phone will run a bit faster w/o all of that overhead slowing it down.
