Still having outgoing mail issues...

I miss the ability to send email on my university email account from my BB fast and easily. I've tried the android mail app and K-9 (which I'm still using), but neither of them have much success with outgoing mail. The stock mail app was just awful. With K-9, sometimes it sends it, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it'll send the mail several days after I sent it from my Epic. Most times they just sit in the outbox. Is there any way to correct this? I really need to be able to send school emails from my Epic. Thanks!

Barring any issues with signal/connectivity, it shouldn't be hit or miss. It should either work or not work (also presuming the SMTP server in question is operating as expected).

Are you sure you've got the SMTP server settings setup properly? Server name/IP, port, auth method, etc...

As an example, the SMTP server I use for one of my accounts requires connections come in on a different port and with a different auth method when outside the local network.

Blackberry devices, I believe, send through their own outgoing setup so it is a bit different.
