So I've followed advice on installing watchdog, yet still, the cellphone gets brought down to its knees. I have no idea. Its not an app causing this. I'm on the verge of reflashing this god damn ROM. Its the AOSP one with CM7 or something.
Occurs more when I've been streaming podcasts from Sticher or streaming music from Slacker more. I get no alerts about low memory, watchdog doesn't show anything going haywire.

So any advice? If not easiest way to back up my contacts and maybe my swype dictionary now? (without google syncing)

No. If anything maybe the minimum clockspeed was bumped up a little. Overclocking won't fix this. Everything works fine, until an hour or so later it bogs down.

Actually overclocking could fix it. put your max at 747 and your min at 460 or 600 and try it.
You are streaming and that puts a load on the phone. Or your cache is filling and one of those apps isnt letting the phone dumb it.
