Still worth it?

Is the Galaxy Note 2 still worth the buy? I currently have a Verizon Galaxy S3 and I love it, but I want a bigger screen. I have been looking at the Note 2. I can't get the Note 3 because unfortunately I am on a tight budget right now. So, back to my question, should I get the Note 2 or should I just forget about it and stick with my S3? Thanks in advance.

I would say this: Unless you are getting the Note 2 for a really good deal, like anything less than $75 on contract, I would hang on to your money.

If buying the phone outright, hang on to your money.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe I should just wait until I can afford the Note 3. Thanks!

Who knows? You might get attracted by other phones too. The G3 looks like it might be a sweet device too.

If you plan on buying the note 3 soon then I would just hold out. If you plan to wait 6 months or more then I would buy the note 2. The price difference between the two is $66 used. So for 6 months that would be $11 / mo.

I upgraded from the s3 to the note 2 and have no regrets. The larger screen was well worth it, plus the note 2 performed better. I did get the Note 3 as well and while the note 3 had some worthwhile features, if the larger screen is the largest concern then the note 2 can be a good choice

What about camera quality? Is it better than the S3?

In my opinion, yes. I like the note 2 camera more than my note 3 camera too.
