Stock App APK's Question

Has anyone tried the stock dialer and sms apps from the Google Edition S4 on the non Google Edition ones? I'd like to know if they work to get these apps as I prefer them over the Samsung ones.

I am sure they would work. They are just apps. I used the google edition apk for the camera on my nexus 4.

Just drag and drop the apk from your computer to your device and then open it using a file manager like astro. If it works it will just work haha. Worst case, you have to install the samsung apk again.

I've got the camera working on my note 2 but that's it so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated
