Stock Browser Button/Form Issue?

I'm seeing this really weird/bad behavior lately. The stock browser can't log into or use many sites because the post button to submit a form is often, more often then not interpreted as an image I think and doesn't actually work to click to submit. When you hit submitk, post whatever it just highlights it but nothing will happen.

For example, cant login to gmail from the stock browser, amazon, or click on the search button on droid-life as a couple examples.

Is this a known issue with the stock browser or is my phone acting funky? Guess its time to check out Opera or Dolphin but found it very strange that googles own OS cant even log into its own site.

I don't have that problem. I just logged into GMail to see if I could, and it worked fine.
