Stock E-mail App and Viewing Mail Headers?

Just to follow-up to a certain extent...

Instead of full headers, I'd settle for a full recipient list, so I can see who all was CC'd.

I've also found that when you reply or forward, the full headers are quoted, and I'll acknowledge that "reply or forward the message and look at the quoted text" is a valid answer to my question - but at that's an awful long way to go to get information that should be readily available.

I've read of "hold on a message to pull up the context-sensitive menu and then select 'Details'", but on my EVO, "Details" isn't an option on that menu.

I'm also familiar w/ K-9 mail, but I'm having trouble getting it to work with EAS - and I don't like the way it looks.

What I'm really after is functionality that should be present in the native application.

Can anybody help?

On the droid, it does not give the option either.

nor can you search or filter your messages, or if you are in sent folder see WHO you sent the message two without opening the email.

That's a common sentiment but everyone's notion of what "should" be stock differs. Average Joe consumer doesn't even likely know what an email header is so I wouldn't be surprised if the stock apps didn't allow viewing of the full headers (or even part of the headers). If the stock app doesn't meet your needs then find a replacement. That's part of the point of Android's extensibility IMO.
