I hate to admit this ... but the more I get into my S6 ... the more of a love/hate relationship it's becoming!
The hardware is amazing ... but all this stuff they've done to strip down TW and their default apps is killing me. It's really not a TON of stuff I've found, but all the stuff I'm talking about are things I found VERY useful ... but can no longer do using stop apps like I could before. Here's a partial list of things that I have found that are now gone, that existed on my S4 even up through the lollipop update:
1. Stock email app: no longer has the nice little quick-icon bar at the bottom for replying, syncing, deleting, read/unread, etc.
2. Stock email app: no longer as the sort by date
3. Stock email app: no longer has the "select all" option
4. Stock Messaging App: you can no longer set different vibration patterns for different contacts for text messaging (this also applies to groups)
5. Stock Messaging App: you can no longer set different notification sounds for different contacts for text messaging (this also applies to groups)
6. Widgets: one-touch call and/or text widgets are now gone from the stock widget selection
7. Widgets: can't add widgets to the lock screen anymore - not stock widgets or third party / custom widgets
I totally respect Samsung's decision to slim things down and make the phone more streamlined ... but man, getting rid of these "little things" seems like a huge step backwards. These are NOT things that were "bloating" the system ... Conversely, these were very useful things that made using this device more efficient ...
