Stock Gingerbread roms? Update

I have been looking for a good rom for the optimus and having issues deciding which one and could use some assistance.
what I want,
as stock as possible
as working as possible
and a darker theme, the virgin stock rom is to white dont like the vanilla ui.

Any thoughts as to the best rom?

Harmonia 2 is about as stock gingerbread as you can get. the only Cyanogen mod stuff youll see is if you press the menu button, and go into settings, theres a selection called "cyanogenmod settings" where you can change the advanced stuff.

otherwise its just gingerbread. oh, and everything works

also, 2.3 has a black status bar as opposed to the stock rom that has white, and light buttons and menu items and stuff, its darker overall.

ms I know of for the v. If you want a lightweight gingerbread rom try out harmonia 2 in the IHO thread.

I was just about to say the same, but you beat me to it.

You could flash a gingerbread IHO rom remove the apps you don't want and flash the stock launcher.

harmonia comes with stock launcher and most of the un needed apps removed. like i said, its very very close to being the "stock" gingerbread update the OV needs.

Quite a few of us were working on it, but it seems to have gotten the better of us.

As mentioned, Harmonia 2 is about as close to a stock VM version of GB as you will find.

Ok. I'm set to take the plunge. I plan to flash harmonia 2 using flashimage gui. Will that do the whole job??

No. Flash image gui will flash a custom recovery to your phone and you can use that to make a backup and flash a rom

Thank you all for the responses, I am keeping this thread open until I get a new rom on my phone, as for the "stock" im looking for the rom that is most stable with the optimus. I downloaded harmonia 2 '12/25' but I cant seem to find a nice screen cap to know what it will look like.

it will look like gingerbread. with the gingerbread launcher (similar to froyo) and a black notification bar that gingerbread has. the wallpaper you can change to anything you want.

screencaps are pointless, the OS is so customizable it will never look the same on any two phones.

It will look like stock gingerbread with a better default battery. Pluses some cool features like a changing how bright you phone screen with the . Don't forget to reboot into recovery,by turning you phone. Hold volume down and home button the power button together. Now make sure to make a backup while in recovery mold. Useing volume up and down to move and camera button to select. After that wipe cache,delvick chach,format boot,format Chach,format data,format system,Wipe factory/reset PLEASE make sure it says "WIPE FACTORY/ RESECT " then reboot and enjoy H2 don't for get to open market to log in google, them go to setting, account/sync. Then select your contact, Gmail, calendar. PS... H2 is my favorite... Thxs to all the devs

PS... you don't need gapps with hormonia 2 just the Rom,reboot,enjoy I personally use VM670NH recovery.Img instead of rom manager

I flashed Hormonia 2 successfully yesterday. Everything works perfectly. I love having a clean bloaware free system.
