Question...
I have had quite a few Droids and rooted some, currently Im using a Nexus, but I found a guy who is getting rid of his Inspire for dirt cheap. Says its stuck in a boot loop (and hes not rooted/rom'd).

Is this something that should be easily fixed?
Just curious if its worth my time/money to buy it from him?

thanx for your help
Danny

When I got mine stuck I rebooted into recovery and flashed an old rom I had. Then restored a backup once it booted properly.

Don't know if that helps, but it's rooted it is possible to fix.

Make sure it actually turns on first. If you can get into Hboot you should be able to fix it.

thanx for the reply.
is it vol up and power, or vol down and power to get into hboot?

and do you think its worth $70?

Its volume down button and power. I think it'd be worth it for an off contract phone. Im fairly certain it can be fixed, its pretty difficult to actually brick the Inspire. Try to get it into Hboot before buying it though.

I havent actually checked, but I assume you guys have already put ICS on this phone? can it handle it just fine?
