I just switched from a GS3 to a GN3 yesterday, and I love it. One thing I noticed though is with the stock music app. On the GS3, the options at the top of the screen were: Songs, Playlists, Albums, Artists and Genre. On the GN3, there is no option for Genre. It is instead replaced with Folders. Did Samsung do away with the Genre tab? This is very frustrating to me, as I am usually in a specific mood when listening to music, such as "Disco House", "DnB" or "Soulful House" to name a few. Any help is appreciated!

Welcome to the Note 3! I just picked mine up a few days ago too and am enjoying it!
The option to customize your music menu is still there. If you go into the music app and then into settings. Go into music menu and start selecting what you want viewable on the top.

Yes there is. You just have to use the app from Google in the Google folder
