Stock Nook Color Overclocking Question

in the download on the stickie thread for overclocking, when i put the file on the root of the sd card, and boot into recovery...i can not find the file do i have to put it into a zip file or is it corrupted

i used the kernel from this thread on xda: [Kernel][Eclair][Froyo][CM7][Honeycomb] Dalingrin's OC kernel [2/25/11] - xda-developers

put it on the root directory of the sdcard, you should be able to see it and install from the zip. i use setcpu to change the overclock settings.
