I have gotten myself into a pickle. I rooted a friends phone using the revolutionary method and wireless tether worked fantastic. Then I got cocky and we decided to flash cyanogen 7. Now the wireless tethetbwill not work and I forgot to backup the stock rooted ROM ( I got cocky remember?). In a desperate attempt to fix the issue I reflashed to liquid because it mentioned it supported tether. It was heavily ICS themed and horrible, on top of this the tether didn't work. I verified the tether worked when the phone was first rooted. Does anyone know where to get the stock rooted ROM without starting over? I'm use to OG Droid/ galaxy nexus where stuff is readily availible. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appriciated.

I would just flash gingeritis 3d if you are noobish at rooting and roms. It has wireless tether bundled.

I agree. Stock ROMs are nothing but trouble waiting to happen anyway when OTA's roll out.

I'm not familiar with Gingeritis 3D (although I hear it's quite nice), but I run BAMF Forever 1.10 and can attest that both the Verizon "official" hotspot as well as Wireless tether 2.0.7 run just fine on it.

If you do decide to go with BAMF, I also recommend installing the 3++ kernel as well (just flash immediately after installing ROM).

Personal preference on which ROM you choose, but either one of these should get you on the right track.

Thanks guys. The T-bolt has been nothing but trouble. I'm going to get it working and back away slowly. :)

You want 1.11 with the 3++ kernel. 1.10 doesn't fix the end call bug. 1.11 is the last release.

Liquid Gingerbread is what I flashed to after cyanogen. I normally use Peter Alfonso ROMS and they are excellent. This liquid Gingerbread sucks, cyanogen sucked and I don't know enough about people who support thunderbolt to pick a decent ROM. I am downloading BAMF right now. I'm crossing my fingers in hopes of being done with the TBOLT so I can refocus on my nexus.

thanks fellas

Since Peter Alfonso roms are usually AOSP roms Sense roms are not going to be for you, CM7 or maybe this on at http://forums.androidcentral.com/th...r4-ikream-sense-3-0-brickcity-rom-stable.html would be to your liking..
