Stolen Samsung Galaxy S4

Last week I lost my phone somehow. Noone's fault but my own. I did not have the entire phone secured because I thought I was too smart to ever lose my phone. Silly man. That's not how it works. My replacement has location services on and is better secured because I'm not infallible.

I'm amazed at how many people are losing their phones.
Regardless, EVERY new device comes with a way to locate it if lost or stolen, making it super easy to find. (Not to mention the numerous third party apps) The first thing you should do whenever you get a new device is activate this feature. It's common sense folks.
Good luck to those of you who lost your phone. Live and learn right?

Call your service provider, and don't give out your phones serial number on a forum

I think the mods should shut this thread down immediately to avoid disclosure of sensitive information.

Why not have them call someone who has you in their contacts using the phone in question. Your name will show up as the caller. Plenty of other logical ways to confirm identity...

I lost my pone, went to this site AND IT WORKED. It told me it was here and set my phone off even though I had it on silent.:D

I have the same problem, can I find my phone back if its rebooted? Or if my gmail acc is deleted by that person?
