AC Question

Hello I keep on receiving text from online sites that allow you to text someone from the site example--- tony@text.net and so on you can go to each website and block your own number BUT he keeps finding new sites and I have to block the new one. Is their a way I can turn off all text from "email" services like this? Changing my number is currently not a option due to all the things tied to it.

Any help would be awesome because he won't give up and cops will do nothing about it ether

Your carrier MAY be able to help with a situation like this. That block could be set up on their side, it may even respond that the number is no longer in service.

As you have found, the challenge is that the individual is changing sites/services like most people change underwear (me at least). So, you'd need an app that can block based on some context.

I'm surprised the cops won't do anything, I'd consider it a form of harassment, which IS a criminal offense.

I'd consider it more of malware or a virus - I doubt that someone is running around, adding his email address to thousands of sites. (Breaking into the sites to do that could take days for each site.) Try the standard antivirus and antimalware methods.

Hey replying and it is a individual that I know in person that keeps getting my number no matter how many times I change it and also the cops just say change your number but i have 3 kids a job ect I can't be changing it tons of times a day we use family base for Verizon which holds 20 and he fills that fast than starts using all these stupid sites he's not being threatening just begging for me to talk to them has been going on for a year or more. Ok I will call Verizon and ask them of they can block all incoming .net .com ect from sending me text thank you very much
