I use my EVO for EVERYTHING! So I use battery power everyone who says one battery is fine might as well go get a Motorola Brick cause u obviously just txted and chat once or twice a day and the cover is NOT ugly! Must be a bunch of 8 year olds saying that in the comments !

i don't want some ugly bulky non-OEM third party battery from China damaging or exploding my EVO. the stock battery is fine for normal usage for normal adults.
your writing style indicates that you may be the one who is closer to being the 8 year old.

I think that it can be said that everyone has their own preferences and needs. I personally love the fact that the 3500 seidio back cover protects the camera lens because the phone is no long sitting on the lens when u put it down (Im a picture fanatic) Plus i have a 14-15 hour day more often than not, and I dont really want to have to worry about carrying a charger around with me everywhere.
The best way to really get through this argument is to recognize its alll about PREFERENCE

I have the Seidio 2600 for my DROID. I am constantly downloading podcasts and videos, streaming music and videos, and some web browsing as well. I can hit 15-20GB of data in a month without blinking. The standard battery can't handle that.
As far as how it looks. It's only ugly if you don't need it. It's a thing of beauty if you do.

I purchased a 2600 mha battery and cover to use when I cannot be around a charger. 11. 86 shipped from Hong Kong. Great results
So what do u consider normal usage? 5 hours max on a stock battery? U must just put the kickstand down and look at your EVO while its sleepin it wouldn't be the first time I was accused of acting like an 8year old but I don't say "your phone is ugly ,mines prettier so that makes it better!" Get a life Old Head!
If you're tired of running out of gas all the time, quit bit**ing and strap a spare gas tank to the roof of your car! Problem solved. Enough with the whining, people!

Well said. I'm only a few days into my evo but a long time htc user (not a stranger to poor battery life, lol). It will always boil down to preference. Personally, the evo is big enough and doesn't need the added size of a huge battery. Them again, I sit at a desk all day and always have a charger handy (home, work and car.) I don't need the big battery but can completely understand why others would.
That being said, its a forum, let people vent. If you don't want to hear (read) it, read the thread topic and skip over it.

Funny you said that. My wife is doing part time at best buy for the summer and she justbrought this home for me today. I'll post my thoughts in a day or 2.
