Stop notification sounds?

So my s8 accidentally upgraded to oreo yesterday, despite me trying to hold off. Among the many issues I've read about, I can't figure this one out. A lot of my apps like Twitter and Facebook would give me notifications, but would only vibrate. Now, every single app I have that gives a notification plays a sound too. I don't want this for all my apps, as my phone would be going off all the time. I used to only have sound notifications for my text app and Gmail. I can't seem to find a setting, is this just another stupid change that oreo won't let you turn off?

It's in your settings/notifications.
All your apps are listed there, keep them on, but press for instance on Facebook. Then you get a new page with some settings for that app, notification sound is one of them.
