Stop SMS sync

My galaxy s9 is somehow syncing my text messages to my old s6 edge. How is this possible? I have poured through the settings for Google and Samsung cloud and turned off all syncing (through notification quick action) and somehow my messages still show up on my s6! The s6 is only connected through wifi. This has me stumped

Syncing through the toggle might not do it for certain elements. Have you checked your Samsung and Google account's sync settings and see if text sync is selected? I think Samsung would be the culprit here, but can't hurt to check both. Do you have any apps that might be syncing texts like MightyText? What about text sync with an e-mail account like an Exchange or corporate one?

Hmmm possibly email. It just randomly stopped. So strange. Thanks though!
