How do I stop Whatsapp media and other folders from automatically backing up? I do not want these photos saved.

Are you referring to backing up with Google? If so, open the photos app. Open menu and select photos "on device". You'll get a screen that has photos with labels (camera, screen shots, etc.). You'll also see a blue cloud with arrow pointing up icon. Press that icon. It should turn into a grey cloud with a slash. That essentially is the toggle to disable or enable the folder to be backed up.

how to stop the backup which is stored in my files in whats app folder which is created every time in my phone memory.

On your phone, go to Photos. Top left corner you see 3 horizontal lines, under that comes the options; there choose `Device Folders`, there you will see Camera, WhatsApp Video, Messenger, WhatsApp Images, Pictures etc. If they are synched, the cloud image is blue, if not the cloud is grey. you can change the sync by touching the cloud image.
