stopping emails from showing up as notifications

How do we do that? I tried everything I think....lol

The stock email app? If so go to settings>notifications> apps> email> click silent.

Hmmm. Is it the Sound or a pop-up? Or are you trying to get rid of all notifications for the email?

Try this. Open the app, hit the 3 dots in the top right and select settings. Select your account towards the bottom of settings and in there turn the notification button off.
