Stopping Vibrations at Night

Hi all! Newbie here.

I have a Galaxy S III on Verizon. Factory ROM with all updates. I'm trying to figure out a way, or find an app, that will successfully stop the phone from vibrating between set hours at night (10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., for example). I still want the phone to ring at night in case of an emergency, but I don't want to be bothered by the phone vibrating on my nightstand when a text message or email comes in. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Turn off vibration for notifications and lower the volume to the lowest setting. You will have separate volume options for ring tone, notifications, media, system.
Vibration is similar.

There is also supposed to have been a "blocking mode" built in to the newer updates. It was hidden and there is a way to access it and that may be what you are looking for. There are also many different third party apps that will accomplish what you want.

I can't remember how to find blocking mode but I know there are threads on the the topic specifically if you search for it.

Hope that helps!

In my experience blocking mode does not disable vibration, it only blocks the ring tone. Which I think is crazy. It should block everything, ring, vibrate, screen, led, but it only seems to silence the ring.

I'm using an app called Llama to do a night time profile which can turn on or off about anything you want. I'm sure there are a lot of other profile apps out there too.

I use a automateit, it should be able to do what you are asking.

I use Tasker for this. I have a profile called Home Bedtime that sets the phone to silent from 11pm - 7 am as long as my wireless router SSID is in range. This way, if I'm out and not home, I still get notifications.

SoundProfile (by Corcanoe) can do that. You are also able to mute any notifications and just have calls. Or mute everything but your kids and all things like that.
