Storage/miscellaneous files

I am constantly being informed that my apps can't be updated because I don't have enough storage space. Not that I want the apps updated (more ads) but I went to Settings/Storage and saw that the Galaxy said my Miscellaneous Files has 6.30 GB of data, but when I add up the individual files is displays, all I get are 37MB. Where are the rest?

When you open the storage, tap More and select show Hidden files....

I'm sorry, but "More" nor "Hidden Files" exist. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for trying to help. I have a Verizon Galaxy S4 which does have those options at the bottom.
