Yes and I just found this out, there is an Auto Download Videos tab that is on by default.

So for other users who come across this,.....

Go to the Gear upper right for your settings....

Next is Chat Settings -->Auto Download Videos-->Choose Never........

That should be what is necessary to keep things reasonable if you are using KIK.

Great info. I'm making a note of this thread in case I encounter another question in the future about unexplained low storage.

I saw many other postings now about KIK gobbling up space, so its probably more common then we realized.

I am someone that doesn't like to have these surprises and had to dig, even thought I hated the time it took, but at least I now know.

Hopefully this will keep others from spending useless hours digging.

KIK is a bad actor...........
