Straight Talk Hotspot

Last night while checking my usage on ST I noticed something new about unlimited hotspot usage. Since my phone does not tether it was 0. Has TracFone changed the policy on hotspot tethering and includes it in the "ultimate unlimited" plan or is that the normal hotspot plans of 1, 5, or 7GB of usage? Kinda curious.

It might be referring to usage of a separate mobile hotspot device that you have to get from Straight Talk or Tracfone. To the best of my knowledge, those MVNOs still don't allow wi-fi tethering from your phone.

Oh I didn't know that. I wanted to put my VS995 on Straight Talk but that means no access to wifi hotspot even if I pay extra?
