I switched from T-Mobile to StraightTalk (AT&T SIM) for my N7000 Intl Galaxy Note.
HSUPA (up) about 1.5Mbps average while HSDPA (down) about 3.5Mbps. Doesn't seem throttled (at less than 100MB per day).

I am in awe at the incredibly small amount of power that the Note Modem draws when in WCDMA (3G) only mode. Much less than when the GSM radios are turned on. I have my note trimmed down to just GrooveIP, K9 email, and Skype running in standby mode. I get less than 1% battery drain per hour when in standby using CDMA. For some reason, when running in Aircraft mode on WiFi only, you have to turn on Bluetooth, or you will lose about 1/2% per hour to bad dialer software code.

(WARNING - it is a rooted N7000 stock GB XXLA4 with BLED LED flasher and JKay_Deluxe, stripped bare of Samsung and Googly background utilities like Media Hub and Social Hub and Accuweather. Yours may well draw more power until you liberally begin to use Titanium Backup's "Freeze" command)
