Strange, annoying Bootstrap issue - help please...

I've rooted my Droid X with Z4 and made a nandroid backup.

I then installed ApeX 1.30 and everything works great.

The issue is - when I take my phone off it's charger each morning and turn the phone on it boots into Clockwork Recovery - every single day and I must manually press the camera button to select "reboot now" - then all is well.

It ONLY does this when it's on the wall charger - not during regular reboots or on/off cycles.

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling Droid X Bootstrap Recovery - tried battery pulls - tried combos of the above. Tried just launching Bootstrap recovery - then turned the phone off and did a battery pull. Same old thing - every time the phone comes off the charger and its turned on - it goes straight to Clockwork Recovery and I have to manually select reboot - then all is well.

It's not a show stopping issue - but it's just annoying enough that I'd like to get it fixed.

Any tips/suggestions/hints would help. I've searched and can't seem to find an answer that works. Thanks in advance!

This is how the application is suppose to work so when a device does not boot clean the user usually powers device completely down to attempt to go into recovery mode. This is intended to allow the user to access the recovery without issues, if the app did not do this then there wouldn't be a way to have Bootstrap to open on a issue situation.

So this means there's an issue with my ApeX install that's making the phone not boot up correctly? Everything seems perfectly fine otherwise. No random reboots, no fc's, no freezes etc...

No there isnt any issue with rom, you said it only does it when you completely power down and power backup but not when you reboot, I was pointing out that if a device does not boot correctly the user has to completely power down and the power up into recovery mode and if the developer didn't setup app to trigger when device is powered down and backup it would not be possible to access Bootstrap recover. the developer needed a indicator to tell app to run on boot so a complete power down is that trigger.
