Strange appearance of concentric circles on Lock Screen

About a week ago, I got a new Samsung Galaxy S4 and I was experimenting with the Home Screen & Lock Screen.

For some reason, after some experimenting, my Lock Screen changed. It now has several concentric circles with an image of a pad lock in the middle of them. I have no idea how this image got onto my Lock Screen or how to remove it.

Would anyone know how this happened?

Sounds like you enabled Smart Lock.

Smart Lock?

You may very well be right about that. I've only had this phone for one week and I've never heard of Smart Lock.

I have spent quite a bit of time exploring and experimenting trying to learn about the phone.

Can you tell me what Smart Lock is and how I can disable it?

Or better yet, can you point me to some description of Smart Lock somewhere so I can read it on my own and learn from it that way?

I Googled "samsung galaxy s4 disable smart lock"

I found a few descriptions. One was in a forum named, "Solvemix". But I couldn't understand their description. I'm afraid it was all just far above my head.

OK. I figured it out.

Thanks so much Jerry A. I guess that all I really needed was the name of the feature and I just looked at that link I posted and checked the phone and I figured it out.

But it would have taken me a very long time to have figured this out all by myself.
