Strange date on sms thread

Sorry to waste space on this but I figured I'd just ask if anyone here has had this problem. I was texting someone on Tuesday just a few back and forth and then on Wednesday I noticed that the date of the thread was "Dec. 31, 1969" I went back to look at it and it won't let me load the chat or delete it.

Called VZW tech support and they couldn't offer a fix either other than a hard reset which I have not done because I didn't want to go through the trouble. I did pull the battery just for the h**l of it.

Like I said its not an issue to me but why would it do something like that and has anyone ever seen that? Thanks guys.

I’m sorry – I want to tell you that “A jump to the left…. And then a step to the right…” would fix your Time Warp, but I cant. Are you using the HTC client or a market place app?

I am not sure what you mean. This was is the regular texting mobile to mobile. No google or anything of that. I apologize for not understanding, I am not tech savvy that why I come here! ; )

Hey man, I ran into that problem as well same date and everything. I didnt know what to make of it so I just deleted it and started a new thread. Weird...and why that specific date? Hmm..
