On my Ultra when I start to type in the address field in Gmail or long press I get multiple clicks. Doesn't happen on my Note 10 or other email apps. The haptic feed back is also noisier than the Note 10. Not sure why or if there is a sensivity setting

Check in settings>sounds >vibration pattern or intensity...also heard there more improved haptic on the s20

I did.... I dont mind the click it's just that in Gmail it it goes into machine gun mode but only in the address field

You get multiple haptic clicks... but you don't get multiple character clicks right?? (like press letter 'r' and get 'r-r-r-r')

I was gonna say maybe it's that super sensitive 240hz touch sensitivity speed but then you would have multiple character clicks.

Also guess not defective/loose sensor jumping around in phone if you tried two phones.

Nope: address bar when you create an email where you enter an email address. I never mentioned search bar

Somewhere in Settings, iirc, is a time interval adjustment in ms for touches to repeat. Check the keyboard Settings 1st.

Tried that.....it doesn't matter its only Gmail that it does that and I disable sound anyway. I only noticed it because it defaulted to sound

What is your setting here?
