Strange placement of SOS button S8 plus

Wonder what the logic of having the 3 press emergency on the home button was? As i use the button for Camera I've already twice accidently sent Emergency SOS to family members. The Brixby button would surely have been better placement. I get the photo bit on the SOS but imagine if your mm doing other photos and accidentally press 3 times

Agreed, I had it turned on with my Note 7 and pocket SOSed everyone at 430 in the morning everytime I went for a run. They'd get a pic up my nose and a text, needless to say I felt it was polite to just turn it off.

Well, not saying that the placement or the button chosen to do this is ideal as I have sent unintended SOS to my family in various occasions since I discovered and turned this feature on years ago, but the fact is that since I remember this has always been triggered by pressing the Power Button 3 times, so nothing new or an exclusive S8 issue.

That it can be more prone to errors now because of the double press to launch the camera Vs previously the Home button, that's another story.
