Strange social media widget appeared on my phone?

The widget is a tiny bar on the side of the screen that appeared by itself. It overlays everything including the lock screen and it goes to a weird Indian Youtube app. It doesn't show up as an app anywhere and my anti-virus wont detect it. Should I just do a factory reset?

Welcome to Android Central! It's almost certainly a hidden "feature" that came with some other app you installed. You could uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away.

Use something like Apk Extractor to make backups of all your apps, to make it easier to reinstall them when you find out which one is the bad one.
