There's a weird file I found in my audio files. Consists of mumbo jumbo. Nothing but random numbers and letters.
I attempted to delete it by moving it to trash. It moved it, but at the same time flashed a notice that the file doesn't exist.
Went to the trash file to empty and it wasn't there.
I thought that was strange but since it seemed to have vanished thought nothing of it
Was just in my audio files again and they it was at the bottom of the list.
Why thru the same process when exact results.

How does one get rid of a fine that "doesn't exist" isn't playable, but shows up in the list, yet temporarily vanishes even they move it to trash to delete

Which phone? Which file manager were you using? What directory was the file in?

Stuff like this is often temporary data used by an app that you installed.

Forgive me I've been busy
I have a Samsung s22 ultra
I've included screenshots of the newest unknown files that have appeared. Says I saved them at 2am I was alseep. And these files can't be opened. There's a screenshot of that error message. I sent them to trash. Then emptied my trash
Just for them to reappear. So I deleted and emptied trash againScreenshot_20220930-211805_My%20Files.jpgScreenshot_20220930-211825_My%20Files.jpgScreenshot_20220930-211845_My%20Files.jpgScreenshot_20220930-211928_My%20Files.jpg

Maybe. Makes sense. Only thing is I just downloaded Whatsapp. I haven't even used it yet. Not sure what it could be backing up front the app? And why whatever it's saving can't be viewed

You haven't even opened the app? I wouldn't be surprised if the app initiated a backup schedule as soon as it's installed. And it's not surprising that an app would create files that aren't viewable by standard apps -- they're intended for use by the app.
