stream internet videos to chromecast

Hi all

So I bought a Chromcast for my tv in my spare room works great. However if I'm on the Internet on my phone and watch a video through the built in videoplayer on my s6 edge there is no button to cast to tv any suggestions?

Use the Chromecast app, and under the menu is an option to cast screen. This means whatever you see on your screen will cast to the tv. The downside is, you tie up the phone.

Another great option is dl ES File Explorer. It's a file manager all with a built in chromecast player. But to use this you have to have the downloaded file on the device

Hope this helps some. I LOVE Chromecast, have 3 of them

I'm thinking of buying a chromecast but need some confirmations first. Hopefully someone can help me.

I watch live sports via various streaming apps on my android (not legit I know). I've heard that only certain apps like YouTube and Netflix etc work on chromecast. The apps I use to watch live streaming sports probably wont. So is there any point in buying a chromecast to watch sports via my android to a larger TV screen?

Any feedback / advice is welcome.

Yes, cast screen will cast whatever you see on your device
