Stream music and play a pic slideshow simultaneously over DLNA

[Android Central Question]

I have had a WDTV Live box for like 8 years now... One thing it does amazing is stream music and play a pic slideshow simultaneously over DLNA. I would like to remove this WDTV box and do the same thing with my android box but not sure what app works best. I have tried Kodi, Mezzmo, BubbleUPnP but nothing is able to perform both tasks at the same time correctly.

Why do I want to do this... When I have company over, I will usually put on some music and have a slideshow in the background of trips or events.
