Streaming from Pixel to Android TV

Anyone have an idea why when I do watch live streams on Youtube my video quality is crap? It starts out fine (720p or 1080p) and then reduces automatically to the point where everything is pixelated. I have 5ghz network 200mbps+ up and down fiber, and router is in next room. Can obviously play 4k videos fine, the problem is only with live streams
