Dude! Its only a phone. There is always some, as you put it, "Stress" waiting for a new product, but its nothing worth getting worked up over.

I would take a step back, and re-examine your priorities, and possibly look into theropy for your self.

Its possible you should discuss this abnormal level of stress you are feeling with a therapist as opposed to starting a topic dedicated to yourself in an android smartphone forum. Just food for thought.

Haha! If you think this type of release is abnormal for phones then you have much to learn! Take Samsung for instance. How do you think people waiting for the SGSII feel right now. We have leaks from pretty much every carrier, but absolutely no info about a Verizon variant. Some people even think Verizon is passing it up entirely. The Thunderbolt shared a very similar set of delays as well. It happens with every phone manufacturer. Such is the curse of being a phone junkie.

Hahaha. I wish I could see a Dr for this. And the bionic is the longest delayed phone I've seen.

Not stressed. Actually quite releived I will be off my horrible BB in the next few weeks. Chances are by next Monday I know my new phone (GS2 still a possibility) and perhaps I preorder Thursday!

Then you best make it the last your ever buy from any manufacturer. It's not a Motorola thing...all new releases work this way. Did you ever check in on the Thunderbolt forum before it was released? It looked exactly like this. Speculation and rumors.

Yup I've had the pleasure of waiting for many phones. I'm not new.

How many delays did the thunderbolt have compared to the bionic?

Well, actual Bionic delays equals 1. So......

If they scrapped the Bionic name and went with a new name instead between Etna and Targa, the delays would be 'zero'.

True.

I meant and should've wrote delayed time in general.

Lol someone should change the phone forum name to the "ONCE-DELAYED Droid Bionic" at this point..

Maybe it will save every dang topic from having one person complain about "all the delays" followed by someone correcting them that its really only been 1 then having to explain yadda yadda yadda... :)

'The BIONIC formerly known as Delayed'

I find it amusingly ironic that the "catch phrase" back at CES for the Bionic was "The End of Waiting" LOL.

At the time it was in reference to the dual core processor and 4GLTE ability. But since then it's been "Endless Waiting"...The wait, I guess stops on 9/8/11.

I'm getting one!

Lol I was wondering where that catch phrase came from, saw a lot of people using it. I remember seeing at CES, but didn't pay any mind to it at the time. I didn't start really looking into getting and Android phone until about the time they delayed the phone earlier this year. Been waiting forever since.
