Stuck at rom installing

I tried to flash a rom on a new device (T580) (this one) following the instructions closely. After the logo the screen goes to black and it reboots to TWRP. Tried to flash multiple times, result is the same. Any tips on steps to fix? Also, any recommendations on a good, slim Samsung-based rom? Thanks!
